DIY Cup holder lights

I was curious if anyone has installed any cup holder lights.

I stumble acrossed this kit and was also wondering if anyone has had experience with this kit or doing it themselves. Any advice would be great

Thanks

I have the kit. I went with as emblem. Very easy. You tap into the traction control wires red to the yellow wire and black to black. Heard st part was drilling the holes for the wires through the cupholders and feeding the wires through.

Did you install the Multi Color option? If so, how big of hole was needed?
If not, how well did the Blue match OEM?

Thanks.

Went with the single light option. Blue. Color matched very well for me . Will try to snap a picture later and upload. Use a 1/2 drill bit. Go slowly as you don't want to drill into anything underneath. I did have some trouble feeding the wires. but if you lightly pull up on the center console you get enough room to feed the wires through

they seem sturdy enough, I even had a drink on them and they got wet, held up fine. The material seems strong enough despite being lighweight

Double sided tape holds them in. I had some extra and used some as well to ensure no movement

I don't think cutting a small hole in each holder would be a big deal for any buyer down the road, it's not like a engine mod or something really cosmetic on the outside like a custom paint job , besides if you really had a buyer being hard nosed a little putty and black paint and no one would even know. Enjoy the car while you have it is what I say

I went with the Diodedynamics as well and I really like them. People who have seen them also look at them and say "Hey, I really like that!"
Requires small hole in the bottom of the well to run the wire through and I tapped into the AUX on the console.
I hear now they're coming out with red which I may have opted for if it had been available but I'm good with this set up as it sits.
The tape on the bottom of their disc don't secure well so I added my own on the outer edges along with a little tube adhesive in the middle and it's all good.
