Most memorable moment so far
What is the best most memorable thing that you have had happen to you with or related to your Camaro?
I'll start: It's small but one time when I was sitting at a traffic light, there were like 3 people in the car behind me taking pictures of it. I just thought that was really cool. |

Having an off-duty sheriff in uniform & personal car pull up to me in gas station and tell me to slow down.
I had blown around him on the on ramp to freeway.

I was at a city park sitting on a bench very close to where I was parked.
A man and his wife were strolling by and went over to look at my car. Then suddenly the man fell to his knees, folded his hands prayer-like and looked toward heaven as if to say. Please Lord, please give me one! He has his wife take a picture of him next to my car doing this.

In mentioning, My own son, whose also County LEO was the first to try and violate every known traffic statute in Casper at warp speed, shortly after he snatched the keys up and said he needed to see if it were faster than the Corvette it replaced........ and I was still gently breaking in the engine and wouldn't push the car past 3000 rpm. He must have taken off at nearly red line...... The keys stay in my pocket now! He and I have a clear understanding of the meaning of checking the car out now.......Looky, and no touchy. And he better remember it.......thus this was a memorable moment. |

me and a corvette were just for a short second going at it, and his 8 easily beat my 6 but in the end we both smiled and gave thumbs up. This car is too much fun.

First time I got behind the wheel in my test drive. "Hey, this car fits me" was my first thought. Took some nice curves on a 2-lane heading out of town at 65 and testing those brakes out. Step down and let go of the wheel. Great brakes!
Most memorable moment: having to use those brakes to NOT hit a deer on my way home one night out on the 2-lane... heading out of town. Great brakes! |

it would have to be the new Ford Taurus SHO that drove like a bat out of hell up to me to then slow down and give me a thumbs up...it never gets old. Only had the car just over a month, so not much else than thumbs up and compliments.

Sitting between a Superbee and a GTO convertible at my first cruise in. The little V6 fit right in somehow.

I had a few:
1. Ticket for "rolling" a stop sign. (first ticket in 10 years) 2. Sheriff pulled up next to me at a light to tell me my inspection was out.... 3. Couple of girls driving in my sub-division pulled up next to me on my way home to tell me how awesome my car was. The Camaro is an attention getter for sure. |
