Rotating tires

So if the back tires are bigger than the front tires, do you just change sides when you rotate?

No unless you want to have the tires taken off the rim and switched sides

The tires are directional as well as different sizes front to back. The only way to rotate them is have them removed from the rim and put back on the other side. Front left to front right and back left to to back right.

Yep! I've never really got the rotation crap. All it means is that you're going to have to buy all four tyres at once, rather than, say just the rears.

That's what I am planning on doing. Too much of a hassle to take the tires off the rims and swap them around, not to mention you probably have to relearn the TPMS for each.

Only if you were to move the rim

No to tire rotation. Its covered in the owners manual. I have 13,000 + miles on mine and hardly see any wear. And I have been known to do some burnouts.

The tires are not directional, the right and left side are exactly the same. The tire needs to mounted on the rim with the "outer" marked side facing out towards you. There is no directional arrow as there is with the OEM tires that come on the Z06 vette.

Can you rotate the left side to the right side? Some would say yes, some would say no. When you change from left to right you are changing the direction the tire was spinning. In the old days some stated this would loosen the belts.

if it is marked with an outer, I believe it IS directional. But Im going to do some research on this, I found it kinda weird that a cars tires cannot be rotated. Maybe its been THAT long since Ive had a new car...lol

Anyone know what the prices are for these 275/40/ZR20 's? I can google it, but figured someone surely has had to replace them....
