p0300 random misfire

Anyone know what my cause this? Dealer says bad gas...but, I use top tier (shell).

Notice that the misfire only happens when engine cold after sitting all night and during first 15min of operation (not constant..intermitent)

The intakes are gunked up, there is a service bulletin on this for the V6. Happens only when cold.
Spray intake safe cleaner in while running it and do a bottle of Techron fuel injector cleaner in the tank.
Also could be something stupid like a bad plug, coil or wire.
Have it checked out at the dealer.

I can understand that what you are experiencing may be a little frustrating. How often does this occur? I can also set up a case with GM customer service if you provide me with your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage and involved dealership!

Brandon,

Do you have access to TSBs? If so, is there one out on this subject? Dealer told me that GM stated bad gas is causing this. Doesn't seem right to me. I will complain to them again when the car is taken in for first service.

Unfortunately, I do not have TSB information. But I can set up a case with GM customer service to do more research and to contact your dealership. I would just need the previous information that I requested.

I look forward to your reply in a PM.
