I was just reading the contract....lots of stuff not covered, including the top material, however, I was told the mechanics of the top are covered.

I was thinking about cashing it in.....thoughts?

My car has about 11800 miles on it now.

Nobody else has one of these? Takes the warranty up to 75k.

Not sure who mine is sponsored by but they seem to be pretty standard with what they cover. The fabric is not covered and if I remember correctly neither is the frame. They consider them to be like body panels...like a fender. The motor for the top is covered.

I hadn't thought about cashing it in. Covers the rest of the car for 100,000 miles and that may come in handy. Also I dont recall any exclusions for aftermarket performance parts which after the factory warranty is up may be my direction.

Quite honestly, I can see myself trading this car in before I hit 36k miles, that's another reason I am thinking of cashing it in. Gonna trade up I think, either an SS or a newer used 'Vette. In another year or so, no hurry.
