No arguments there. My own car has done it...but the fact is, that's a very rare occurrence not the norm. To say a 12.8 is "right in stock SS territory" is a gross overstatement, as mid 13's are much more common than high 12's.

It won't be long now, GM will come back to the table with a very fast car to compete with Ford and Chrysler. The Mustangs and Challengers being as fast as they are will just make them turn up the power levels even more.....

A 450/450 lt1 with an auto in hopefully a 3600-3700lb camaro would run mid to low 12's with ease. Let's just hope GM doesn't drop the ball and keeps the weight down.

I think he's referring to the Gen"6" Camaro. When he says he's hoping for less weight. But then again i can't be sure. His lack of punctuation makes it hard to discern what he's saying.

Right now I have a 2013 auto Mustang GT and my best bone stock time was 12.7 @ 111. I will be purchasing a new car later this year or early next year, however it won't be a new Mustang. I think the 2013-2014 Mustang GT had a great front end and was very aggressive looking, and I'm not anywhere near being a fan of the Fusion front end on the new Stang.
