The membership director of Central Indiana Camaro Club recently got his 2011 (he also has 2009 & 2010 Pace Cars + other Camaros). But I don't believe he is on Camaro5...

From one Pace Car owner to another - WELCOME! Make sure you check out the Official Pace Car thread here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89978

I am looking to lower Yellow Jack but have no idea on lowering kits. I have looked at a few this one looks good for the cost I guess but am not sure. Keeping in mind that this is a daily driver what other kits come to mind or would you recommend I am not set on one set yet just wanting to get all the information before I make up my mind. Next spring will be sway bars but right now I want to lower it.
Eibach Pro-Kit: $194.95 with free shipping! Lowering is approximately 1" in the front and 1.3" in the rear.

I am by no means a suspension expert but have done a lot of research lately. Many people choose Eibach because they are a lower cost product. I know several people have Eibachs installed and to my knowledge they are very happy with them.

Justice Pete informed me Eibach springs are cold wound which cuts manufacture costs in half (compared to Pedders). Bruce mentioned to me over time the Eibach's can begin to sag some and won't last as long as Pedders. How long that is - I don't know...

Pedders (& Pfadt) are both GMPP Certified so that gives you an advantage when it comes to warranty issues at the dealer (and likely increases the cost). I chose Pedders because: 1. It is what the Pace Car had. 2. Their products are designed for performance while maintaining excellent ride quality.

Pete can answer all your questions I am sure, but if you are going to have them installed I would talk to Bruce @ Raymonds as he is very knowledgeable on the differences. It really comes down to how much you want to spend and what your expectations are!

AAC Amber LED footwell & dome lighting installed (makes a big difference having light in the footwell). The amber color is dim enough that I wired it to automatically come on with the dome light or when the headlights are on. 2nd pic is just the footwell lights (no dome).

Thanks Kerwin! I know you are not on FaceBook so here is the link to the event info for the Avon show this weekend several of us are going to. CICC is wanting to get the "club participation" award so they are asking everyone possible to attend. They are expecting this to be a pretty BIG show: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=149402448470561

If anybody is interested, a few of us "westsiders" are headed to the Suds tomorrow (Saturday 8/20). We will be meeting up 3pm the Plainfield Kohls parking lot to head down together. We should arrive at the Suds by 4pm if anybody wants to meet us out there or ride down with us. Will probably hang out for awhile and then grab dinner in Greenwood. Weather permitting of course!!
