If it was a first year model then perhaps one should it waited for all the kinks to iron out until the second year production but, the development of this particular model has been so intense and consistent that no matter when you buy one, it should be a good car.

The other point is that technology is always improving so, no matter when you buy it, you always want the next year model. Unfortunately, this is always going to happen so, the way I see it is to purchase one today and modify it tastefully to your liking.

After that, enjoy the car for years to come.

UNCONFIRMED RUMORS ARE: Redesigned Interior and HP Bump in the SS for 2012. The Z28 will not be out till later in the year as a 2012 with LSA variant engine. If you were buying an SS I would say wait but since you are buying the V6 it might not be worthwhile for you. It depends on how badly you need a new car.

The rumor for the Hp bump was for the v6. From 312 to 325-330. And the redesigned interior should be for the 8 and the 6

GM messed up by showing the Camaro in the first TF movie and we couldn't buy it. Now its not so cool to have a Camaro because of Transformers, its a 2009 thing. Just kidding buy the car when it feels right and enjoy.

If I did not have mine, I would wait for the 2012 Z28.

If you can wait for 2012, do it. By the sound of your post, you can. Wait it out. It'll be worth it! The updates and changes poised for the 2012 Camaro are incredibly exciting and mouthwatering.

As a point of reference, I got my 2011 2LT/RS on Septemer 28, 2010. The first to take delivery of the 2011s in my area were only a few weeks before that.

You'll be able to place your order around July 2011.

I knew I was getting a Camaro in March of 2010, and heard of the HUD that was to be released on the premium versions (6&8) for 2011 models. I was so close to the model year changeover that I waited.
I ordered it in May, and got it on July 30th (It was one of the first built after the two week shut-down of the plant in July). Order date too delivery varies by region.
There's a certain 'forever' appeal of owning a 2010 (classic due to its first production year back from an 8 yr hiatus). I wouldn't let a movie dictate when you buy your car, but you wont have a '12 for July 1st.
If your getting a 6, I'd do it now, if your getting the 8 wait for the Big-Boy Zedder. The longer you wait the more they're out there. I watched 252 leave on my shift today!

Maybe just wait for the 2013
the car is always going to be improved. But I would wait for some spy shots of the 2012 interior and see if u like it first.
