One of these threads was going a while back and I guessed $47,995 but that was before I expected the magnetic suspension. With that improvement I'd guess $48,995.

I'm guessing $57,495 in Canada. Which means I'm looking at well over $60k with taxes and options. :(

$45,999 and I mean base with nothing else. Now, most will end up adding the radio, AC, leather, connectivity and convenience package, hud, etc etc then it could get in the high 50's. As long as they develop the basic with all the safety air bags and all mandated federal required items then I think that's the way GM should go. IMHO of course.

I think the base price will be approx. $49K (with the possibility to add as much as $6K in options), but if you look at what GM does with basically all of their other top of the line trim package cars (Z06, V-series, SS, etc.) they basically have a lot of options built in and then you can add the really extraneous stuff like backup camera, HUD, things like that. GM never releases those high-end trim package cars as strippers, it just doesn't happen.

My guess is that the base Z/28 (or whatever it's called) will have at least as many options as a 2SS, and then you can decide to go up from there. It would be nice to be able to get cloth seats if you wanted, but I think that won't even be an option.
