I just got back from purchasing a 2008 Roush 427R.
I couldnt pass up the price and the 0% interest.

Hope everyone doesnt mind me hanging out here since this forum is fantastic and everyone here seems to be very nice.

When we were looking at the car my wife fell in love with it.
When i told her we were leaving you should have seen her face, she looked like i ran over her dog or something.

I was looking at the GT500's because i saw a thread on here about Galpin having them advertised for 39995.00 but by the time i got down there the blue one i was drooling over for 15 mins and in the engine and sitting in the car was sold

So we drove to the other lot and they only had white ones with black stripes and white ones with blue stripes. I dont really care much for the white ones. Then we walked in the warehouse where the GT500KR's were at and found my roush sitting there missing a cap on the rim. The service guy said someone probably stole it when it was in the other lot.
The car rides really stiff like the car i lost a couple months ago and has more power than my other car. There is a fantastic rumble when you start the car or rev up the engine. Sure the LS3 is an awesome motor and the camaro with a couple mods will kick my butt, but being without a car is making it really rough to get around and i really hate asking people to take me here or there or borrow their car. Maybe next time i will be in a better spot and can wait for the camaro.

Keep in mind that in October 2008 my Mustang won 3rd Place in the Modified mustang class at the queen mary in long beach.

All this happened when i was stopped in the left turn lane waiting for a green arrow.
