I want to get a black 2lt rs auto prob in time for the new TF3 movie coming out this summer. Do you all think the 2012 will be out by July 1st? I plan on doing some custom stuff to it also so was just curious whether to get the 2011 or wait for the 2012.

No offense but what bearing does the timing of the movie coming out have ?

The 2012 is supposed to have a couple of updates to it (interior I keep reading mostly). Just do some research and get what suits you bro....good luck

I heard the 2012 v6 will be coming in around 330hp.. I would definitely wait for the 2012.

Wait man. I was going to wait for the 2012, but the car I was driving shot out on me and I purchased a 2011. I am very happy with my purchase by far, but I would have waited if my car didn't FAIL.

I'm definitely waiting for the 2012. After I heard about all the changes they will be making to it, it turned into a no brainer for me

Im not waiting... I know what I want, Im going to keep the car forever. Little changes arent enough to make me want to trade in.

Maybe in a few years ill want a Z28, but I cant afford that now. No sense it waiting for it to come out either...

Has the interior ever been confirmed? All I remember seeing was some random website saying they had insider information and then everybody went bat shit crazy without any confirmation.

Exactly my thoughts. Many times I actually dislike the small "updates" manufactures seem to do between major changes. The new motor and updated interior are not confirmed as of yet based on everything I read.

If you like the car as it is now, purchase one, if not...wait.

Where did you hear this? Michael Bay has said before it's being released in July

To the OP...i'd do some research and get what suits you best, making your purchase because of a movie is a little koo koo

The new Transformers movie is actually coming out July 1, 2011. Was at the movies this past weekend and saw the preview for it.
