New to site....or atleast actively. I have been reading for almost a year now. Waiting on 817. Dealer still says he is not sure but was expecting delivery this week. Have you or anyone else actually seen one of these arrive yet?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and am also waiting for my Camaro to come in. It is #936 and the dealer told me it would be in toward the end of April. I was in there yesterday and they said they had people wanting to see my Camaro??? Makes me think they are going to want to hang onto it for a while. Hope there is no extra km on it when I get it. Kind of uncomfortable at the thought of people touching and rubbing the paint an interior.:(

Dealer told me the same thing but promised no one would get in the vehicle. It does make a little nervous, but he is making it worth my while to let it sit there for a couple of weeks.

Good to know the dealer is making it worth your while. I'm will have to talk to mine about that as well. It would be okay with me if they roped it off and let people "stand back" and look. I saw an Aston Martin that was sold set up like that. It's too bad we are not able to see where the Camaros are being delivered in Canada. There is a map set up for the States and it's neat to see!

Take another look at that map. It now includes many Canadian deliveries. I can see mine now. It is pretty cool. This was not the case when this was first posted, but they must have found a way to include CDN Vins.

I've always been a GM man. My father started me on that years ago and I've owned many GM's over the years. My fave was a '70 Camaro I had. Dropped an LT1 into it and had fun. (No traction though). Viewing the vids on the 2010 SS, I would love to get behind the wheel of one of them to see how they compare to my '70. (I ordered the V6 for many, many reasons). One being if I had that kind of power I would use it. 50 now...you think I would know better. ROFL!

Go to the map site and click database instead of link....you have to dig a little, but you will see where there is a reference to the map with a link called "this link". It will show you where your vehicle shipped. I was able to see 936. Congrats on your new car. I hear you about the power....I of course went all the way. I tell myself it is just going to sit in the garage and get polished....but I think I am lying to myself.

I think you and I BOTH know that is a lie.

A car like that you HAVE to take it out and play. We had a track here that people could use on the weekends, but they are closing it and bulldozing it. I think it's a mistake, but they would not listen to us. :(

I did the digging as you said and I see the marker for the car now. I wonder if that means the dealer has it now???

I don't think so. The VIN simply states who (dealership) the car was sold to. Mind you I beleive these should be arriving any time now, so who knows. I am getting so tired of waiting. I just want it in my garage!!

Just curious why #701 is not on the lists from Heinzd01 or UCF w00t

If I were in your shoes, I'd ask the dealer to print me out another workbench paper.
