When I was thinking of trading in the LT on the SS it was over a period of time. But when I was thinking about it daily, in Kauai, that was it! Came home and bought it!

This is one reason I think the ZL1 loses out on sales...The super-charger and horsepower no doubt is it's biggest selling point...If aftermarket is making a killing off this, they should make the ZL1 more affordable...

Yep, the supercharger on the Z is a 1.9 Eaton. Mostly everyone is doing 2.3 Maggie's, Whipple's, SLP's, etc. They're killing the Z with SS's and saving $10-15K in the process.

Like Fred's (Busy_Boi) his SS looks exactly like a Z, except no CF and he has Rally Stripes.

Well, maybe a super-charger is more palateable if you look at it this way...The additional cost of super-charging is added to your "trade-in" price...not what you paid new...Then the difference of what you are saving is a lot more compared to the ZL1!...lol

ZL1 has the suspension, tires and the great shocks. But it needs it all as designed for road courses. Dont see any road courses around other then once in awhile events.
You can add the sc, tune, but then you need to beef the trans, new rearend and gears suspension etc. After the warranty of course. But still less then the zl1
