I think that video blogs and all that would be followed a lot, but as far as the track teaching goes only a small group i think would be able to go to the tracks that you are at, if there was one anywhere within 2.5 hours of me i would attain but i think all the above are good ideas.

I'd like to make some track days at NHMS and/or Watkins Glen this upcomming year, so #1 would be great on the chance that you could attend any of those, but I would absolutely follow any blog/video series you put out there. Even though I have a V6, the 318 hp I have it up to is the most of any car I've ever owned and I've been wanting to know how to get the most out of it. I'm also always wondering which upgrades are worth the money, so I guess I'm saying I like all of the ideas mentioned!

Sorry so late to reply...
1- Not sure I'll make it to track days, but if I did, definitely interested in shotgun coaching! 2 &3 - Blog series on driving tips as well as aftermarket video blog - yes! 4 - on aftermarket mods, ease of install, tune required, best bang for the buck.

Jeff,
All the above would be great. I have had one track day that went well. I also AutoX and was told by some that I would never win a race, car to heavy. Well I proved them wrong 2 weeks ago. But I had to learn how to drive the car which is much different then driving my 2002. I have heard that the SCCA may let us with 20" wheels move down to 19" wheels so we can run Comp Tires. I also wish that Chevy would make 19" wheels an option for us with SS cars. |

I for one would follow a video and blog series and would definitely enjoy the track testing of new performance parts!!...see how the products perform BEFORE you buy...Thats a no brainer there! Also, as many others might agree...I could use some help getting my baby off the line without a puff of smoke so the driving tips would be more than welcomed. I really hope you do this...I look forward to seeing it come to fruition.
Thanx, Chuck |
