Mild to Wild Exhaust Controller

Just wanted some opinions on it? I'm thinking of getting one for my 1LE and wanted to see how the ZL1 owners like it?

Any issues with it functioning? I'd imagine it's pretty easy to install and simple to use.

Pretty straight forward. gets installed in th fusebox in the trunk and if you get a wireless one you can program the homelink buttons...

Only thing is the baffels will be always open or stock (open at idle/wot and closed in the midrange). You cant do fully closed...

Just pull the fuse. I bought the mild to wild and it's just sitting on my workbench.

fuse pull is too easy, in fact you won't know the difference.

What do you mean you won't know the difference?

You can wire to stay full open or full closed at any time.

With a fuse pull in my 2012 GS Vett, you knew you pulled the fuse, load and mean.

With the ZL1 it mostly sounds the same, I do have a manual mild to wild and yes you can tell a slight difference when off, but really not like the vett. So why I say pull the fuse and leave it, you won't really know a difference.

Why do this? Just pull the fuse, not many want it full closed.

With the ZL1 it's exactly the same. At idle it's already wide open (unlike the vette) so you will notice zero difference activating and de-activating M2W. You have to be driving down the road at a steady RPM and then open and close it to notice. All it really does is introduce some drone when it's open and also more decel pop.

This mod isn't as noticeable on the Camaro as it is the Vette.

I installed it...very easy install. But after a while I left it open all the time so the truth is that a fuse pull would accomplish exactly the same thing.

I actually like the exhaust the way it is. I like the lack of drone at cruising speed. I think they did a great job with this part of the car. But I can understand people wanting it fully open all the time. May try it out sometime..

I would be interested in a way to close the baffle during idle at times. Could you send me a PM on how to go about it, once you start to add mods it can a bit loud compared to stock. Thx.
