Acceleration, set you back in your seat torque, frikin awesome good looks great fun handling on twisty roads. That's why I bought it. I never was a top end guy, anything over 100 MPH is just asking to die in a blaze of glory and most likely taking another innocent life with you.
If I ever do come across a dry lake bed in Ohio though I would like to see what it’s top end was

124 in 3rd gear. Not sure how hight the RPM's were because I was merging onto a freeway but I think it was over 5000.Couldn'y believe how fast the car got up to that speed.

assuming you were in the car specified under your user name with a manual transmission, 124 in 3rd would put you at 7174rpm. are you sure you weren't in 5th? that would put you at 4215rpm.

I've had the car for about 2 months already... and I live in SOUTH TEXAS... the highways are just dying for my car to hit top speed, especially with long stretches.

I've been able to hit 140 mph and I'm in a V-6 Victory Red Camaro RS, with a top speed of 160 mph that reads on the odometer... SS's can hit up to 180 mph, but we all know both models can hit far more than that once your red lining.

The only thing is... idk if you guys agree or not, but when your hitting these high speeds doesn't the Camaro feel like it's only doing half?

Sorry but there's no way you did 12.1 in the 1/4 missing a gear with no mods to the car. REALLY good drivers doing everything right MIGHT hit low 12's with a stock car and ideal track conditions; but missing a gear on the run? No way.

If you're on a Nascar track 140 might feel like 70 but not on a public road. If you really did go that fast you'd know it. 90-100 might not feel much different from 70-80 but double sure does.

He was using a shot of nitrous when he ran 12.1, so that is an understandable explanation depending on how big or small the shot was.

Well he said "no mods"... nitrous isn't exactly "no mods".
