Rookie. Get some time under your belt. I've been dealing with the Transformers haters for 4+ years now. I don't care though. I have a Camaro that I like, and isn't just a run of the mill version. It's just a little different than nearly every other Camaro around.

That's exactly how I feel too. There will always be people who bash the HWSE. Everyone has different tastes and want their car to be done the way they would want it to be. Hence why almost everyone on this site modifies their car be it subtle or not so subtle, and not everyone on here is going to like the mods. To each their own, right?

Yes I paid $8000CDN extra for the HWSE, but in my mind it is worth every penny. Some don't see it that way, but honestly I don't care. I get more people taking pictures of my car or saying they love the color then people not liking it.

I'm with you....I'm too damn old to give a cr@p if people don't like my car. My comment had to do with people trolling Hot Wheel threads just to b!tch and complain about a car they don't like. Folks like that need to grow up and get over themselves.

But as far as the:

People like that will never get over themselves, they are always complaining and knocking something. They seem to live on that and thrive on it. Very sad, and pathetic. Their car is the only one that is acceptable so they trash what everyone else has. I still think jealousy has a lot to do with it. JMO!

I see the HW coupes and convertibles on the road quite often here in my area. Still I decided to just make my own HW car.

Nice! More pics if you have them!

How much did it cost you to do all of that to your car?

I have never seen one out on on the road ... the only one I've seen was out in front of a local dealership last year!

That is awesome, great job. Looks like the one at the SEMA show. The conversion is costly, those rims give you sticker shock don't they.

I do not even remember now what the total cost was. It was not cheap. You can go here to this thread for all the pics and my progress

Rims cost the most

I bought an extra set of rims for my Hot Wheels Camaro. I intend to keep the car so I bought a lot of extra Hot Wheels stuff, rims, badging, stripes, flames for the side, door sill plates, steering wheel, floor mats and a few more things. The shocker was the rims a set of 4 from the dealer were $4995.00. OUCH! That was without tax.

I still have never seen a HW edition in person. Sure would have ordered my '13 ZL1 in that color blue if it had been available!
