My Camaro has been on order since May, still at 1100, so I decided to look elsewhere. Hot da**!!! I found my RJT Camaro, put my deposit down and it's all mine.

We're headed to Pennsylvania Wednesday night to pick it up and bring her home. It's hard to believe that my has set in & I haven't even picked up my baby yet...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Now, all I need to do is call my dealer and tell 'em...time's up...I'm moving on.

Just did the same here put my order in over the phone for back home. All of the other cars have been built so I will be #1 for the allocations they will get in september. I was tired of waiting and then the constraints came down so I knew it would be spring possibly.

Step 0: Get it in writing that your deposit is refundable.

That's what I did, and I'm glad. My original order is still at 1100, while I found another dealer that had open allocation. Placed an order at the second dealer and canceled the first order.

Nah...Step 6 involves a 3/8" drill bit and a cordless drill. Much more efficient and quicker. The inside sidewalls are a bit like butter if the bit is sharp.

BAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm just saying I'd be seriously suprised if they just gave his deposit money back without a fight, although they might. If the car was built already and he backed out, that car would then become a dealer car and they could mark that puppy up disgustingly. Same thing was happening to people that didn't know they didn't qualify for a car loan until the car arrived and started filling out the paperwork. That must be an awful feeling of helplessness right there. If he gets his money back, the dealer has an agenda, but it's all good for him though.
