Anybody disappointed after getting their car? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have been waiting patiently for 6 weeks and i'm just wondering since i cant stop thinking, breathing and living camaro right now, am i overhyping it and will i be let down at all once it gets here.

No dissapointment at all. I love the car... Just wish D-Bags would quit touching it when I am not around... There is now a big scuff mark that is through the clearcoat on my hood... damn bastards

After nine months of a wait, this car is STILL incredible. I love it...

Nine months, patiently waited even though it was tough and some very dedicated people on this forum did a lot of work and continue to do it and the wait was well worth it.

waited 8 months. went slightly crazy. almost cancelled my order for a vette. waited thanks to C5. got my car and have LOVED every second. It was totally worth the wait. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my car.

I was leaving work yesterday. Got on the throttle a bit in 1st gear. Shifted quick to 2nd around 4k RPMs and heard a nice chirp. I was giggling like a schoolgirl. Too much fun!!!

you will NOT be dissappointed. I think I have waited longer than most. I had to sell my 1st Camaro in 1986, I was married and had one kid, and 1 on the way, DAMN I NEED A MINI VAN!!!! After a number of years, 3 kids, a divorice, and getting my life back, I DESERVED IT!!! So my wait was 23 years, if I'm lucky, mine will be here in 6-10 weeks and you will NOT be able to wipe the smile off of my face, ever! :{D

No disappointments here at all. I've owned about 5 Camaro's and dozens of other cars over the years. This is by far the best and nicest car I've ever owned. I have had zero problems with it and it is so much fun to drive. It is definately more than I expected and well worth the money spent.

Me too. A Whole situation of "Drama" went down last night. Almost ended up pretty bloody, They called and apologized this morning.

So going back today to try to wrap things up.

You know, its really all about the Dealer Experience. How you are treated, how they stand by the product and word that you remember. GM has a chance here to make good if the dealership channel continues to produce a good experience.
