Woodward Dream Cruise was awesome!

Got up at 3:30AM and picked-up a few friends and drove from Chicago to Detroit on Saturday morning. Great day for seeing 40,000 cars! We even caught a Tigers game last night. The city is a lot of fun and was very vibrant between the cruise, the Lions game and Tiger game. I was surprised because I only saw about 8 to 10 different Camaro's. I would have assumed that GM, Ford and Chrysler would have been showing off there up coming cars. I would have liked to have seen a concept of the Camaro convertible!!!! and Chevy Volt. I saw 1 new Ford Taurus SHO, looked too big from my sitting position on the sidewalk. Saw the new Caddy wagon, looked nice. When I was here 5 years ago I was shocked and in awe of the amount of enthusiats who take pride in their rides!
Stayed at the Marriott at the Ren Cen, great place in the middle of all the city bustle. Anyway, I hope all that attended had fun and have a safe trip back home!

Uggghhh I was down there, I would have LOVED to see the vert.
I cruised up and down Woodward from 14 mile to 12 mile and then back up to the bank in Bloomfield Hills where there was supposed to be 5th gens, but none were there when I rolled in around 8pm.
I did see a few other Camaros on the cruise. All of the spectators had good things to say as we drove by.
Sorry no pics, I was driving and the hubby was lame LOL

The 1st floor of RenCen was closed for the weekend, but I would have jumped from the 2nd floor if there was a convertible Camaro there. I saw a red one in the front lobby and a yellow one on the 1st floor. Those were the only Camaro coupes I saw.
