Anyone know if the sunroof is tinted or?

Finally found a Chevy dealer in Fresno that was taking orders! Got the 2LT/RS Manual Trans. - Aqua Blue ext. & gray Int. with sunroof. Waiting for info on striping package before forwarding the order to Chevy. Also had questions about the sunroof, and if cold air intake was available on ordering?

I've never seen a sunroof that wasn't tinted myself.

I've never seen one that wasn't tinted from the factory.

Based on this photo, you can see the shadow on the roof under the open sunroof so I think it would be safe to say that it is tinted.

Well, the sunroof isn't bad...seeing it from the pix. But, three reasons I didn't get it?

1. Look. Love the reverse mohawk look.
2. Cost. Would rather put money somewhere else.
3. Weight. Might not be much, but it adds.

Others will love the sunroof and use it every day. My wife REALLY wanted one in her SUV. You want to know how much she uses it? HA! I've only seen her open it mayyyyybe 4 times (completely open) in the past 3 years. She does use it on occassion to let the warm air escape. But, that could be easily done just by cracking the side windows.

Ooh ooh (waves hands) I have a few more..

4. Kills a bit of headroom usually
5. It open OUT and looks retarded in doing so.
6. More chances for leaks (if you plan on owning for a long time)
7. Something more to break

Did I mention the opening outside the car looks retarded?

This being the first time I have seen that particular photo, I may be revising the order to remove the Sunroof. Didn't know it opened out. Too lame.
