Unrestricted Motorsports New Comp lip spoiler install soon
All right boys and girls, Today I went to pick up some goodies from Unrestricted Motorsports in Phoenix, Az. To start off with, the guys had put out a call to the local people to see if anyone was interested in putting on their newest item from their store. I quickly shot them back a message and then things started to roll.
First off, I have been looking for a long time for a ground effects kit that was more permanent than some of the other kits available to date. I found out that the new Comp Lip spoiler is bonded to the vehicle rather than using fasteners and double sided tape. What does this mean you ask? Well this means it ain't gonna come off....unlike some of the other kits out there. Second, the quality of the craftsmanship is unreal. When I held the Comp Lip spoiler today I was VERY impressed with the quality of the fiberglass and how solid it felt. Third, customer service, WOW!! After talking with Scott the designer of the part I was fully pleased with his work ethics and customer relations. He bent over back wards to make sure I knew every detail on the instal, prep, paint and care for the part. I must have taken up a good hour and a half of his valuble time just talking about our cars, passions, and a whole bunch of other things not even related to the project. So tomorrow is the day my Camaro goes into The Shop in Tucson AZ, for the prep, install, and paint of the new Comp Lip Spoiler. It's going to take a few weeks, as they themsevles are swamped with a lot of high quality projects. Plus it's going to take time to make sure that everything fits, sticks and stays like it should. So, I'll keep you all updated with pictures and videos on each step. To start off with here is what I'm working with. Let the transformation begin!!!!!!

Well, My car is dropped off at the body shop. I should have some update pictures by Friday of how the project is going.
Let me tell you though, putting a camaro up on a car trailer was a little never wracking, when you do it by yourself. I must have ailined my car 4 times before I took it up the ramps and onto the trailer. I did have fun though at a boarder patrol check point. As I drove up, they asked me to pull over, once I did I had 4 agents looking at the car and wonder why I was pulling it. After they found out what was going on, they let me go with out even asking me to pop my trunk. Stay tuned!

HEY HEY Everyone!!! Ok so today I picked up the Camaro from The Shop in Tucson. WOW!!!!! I wish you all could see it in person. This car is transformed into something really cool now.
I will have pictures for you all to see very very soon. I have to go back and wash the car, and give it some TLC detailing first, as it needs it. I don't want to show off a dirty girl now do I? OR DO I??? MMMMMMM...

OK BIG Moment!!!!!!!
Here are a few pictures for you guys. So, what you're seeing is, the front chin spoiler. I had it bonded to the front bumper, then the seams were filled and evened out. Then the part was repainted, faded and cleared. You will also note that I had the side rockers from Unrestricted Motorsports installed. Those were prepped, painted and mounted. I give The Shop in Tucson 2 thumbs up for doing a great job of appling the products supplied. More pictures of the install to come! Stay tuned! I highly suggest if you're looking for a permanent solution for your front bumper/spoiler head to www.Unrestrictedmotorsports.com

THat looks sharp!! I like that you molded it into the front fascia! Nice touch.
I've been a fan of their products for a while now. I have taken a different route, but I really like their side skirts a lot.

Check out the guys here at www.Unrestrictedmotorsports.com , if you don't see the bumper spoiler, just send them a message as they can tell you the direct price.
As far as body shops, well you get what you pay for. I went with one of the best shops in Tucson, so it cost me a little more than if I went to one of the quick turn around places. I always thought, if you're going to do it, do it right the first time. So it's really not fair to say what I spent on the instal itself as you may know someone that can do the work for less than what I paid.
