Hey guys... pop wanted me to test the waters and see if anyone would be interested in his giant matchbox car :grin:

As the title says, it's a 93 Camaro Pace Car (first year for the body style change). It has an LT1 with under 433 ORIGINAL miles on it. The car still has all the original plastic on the seats. The car is 100% original itself. It's #625 of 645 built. It's fully loaded for what options you could get. It has t-tops, and there were only about a 100 or so with t-tops. He's asking $30,000.

True... The sticker on the car in 93 was $22,??? This is a 100% all original SPOTLESS collector piece. The only reason the miles are that high is due to the fact I had to move it while till our house was completed. So I had to store it at a few different places.

This car will appeal hopefully to a collector

I can vouch for this car! Saw it on Saturday at the show. That thing is amazing. Only wish I had 30k

That thing is awesome. Love it. i think that's a fair price, honestly. With that low of miles, it'll only go up in value I think.

I agree that it is awesome but again why would someone buy a 18 yr old car when they can buy a virtually new 2010 SS that has a better design?

Heck even the 2010's are hard to sell.

In this economy, realistically, you probably won't get any interest on a '93 pristine model until the price dips below $20,000.00. I know I could buy a really nice '93 Camaro for close to $10,000.00.

Just want to say beautiful beautiful car.

Also don't want to insult the car by comparing it to any other 93 Camaro, or buying a new car. But I will say $30k is just way more than its worth. In order for a car to appreciate in value like that there needs to be excessive demand in addition to being rare, and I hate to say it but there likely is little. Good luck with the sale, but I'd suggest if he really wants to move the car he need to cut $10k minimum off that price.
