You started stirring the pot, so I'll help it along... I owned a ZL1 and can definitely say the Z/28 is better in every way (for me), except power (but Z/28 is no slouch). I've also driven a Charger Hellcat. Tons of power, but no way I would've traded my ZL1 for it. The 662 HP GT500 is a beast. Having never driven one, I can't give an informed opinion so I'll give an opinion based on deductive reasoning..when I owned a Boss 302 there were a lot opinions floating around that it was the more fun car to drive and the Boss is no match for a Z/28. |

In my opinion, without the ZL1 there would be no Z28. If a $55,000 Camaro would have failed to sell well, do you think Chevrolet would have built a $75,000 one? Understand that I would love to have a Z28, but the ZL1 is important in its own right.

Chevy did a great job of putting out two excellent choices in performance cars and I don't understand the need that some fellow members feel they have to put down one to tout the attributes of the other. Enjoy your Z28, I'll enjoy my ZL1. . |
