Fixing cracked rear bumper?
My car got sideswiped at a hospital a while back and I have been contemplating buying a new one thinking it may not be fixable...
Here is a picture from far away... http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._5152369_n.jpg and here is a close up... http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs324...._4321557_n.jpg I was actually able to pop that right back in (a month later lol) and was also able to remove a good portion of those black streaks. Now the car looks "normal" when dirty, but you can see the crack lines in the paint and around the "wound" when clean. After researching repairs, it seems like it may be possible to fix the bumper without replacing it. The thing is I have no idea what it may cost. I could buy the bumper from gmpartsdirect for like $250 or so (plus shipping) and paint costs (?). Any advice? Thanks!!!
