I have been debating this for a while now.... and it is time to break down and by one... I have read alot of reviews, comparison test, etc.... but I just cant make up my mind which one I want..

What are your personal views on these and why? Anyone had any problems with one or little things you dislike about one?

Help me decide pls...

well after looking at Escort's website there is a new one out called the redline...lol

I think that one is a cheaper version? could be wrong though. I'm very happy with Escort.

Bottom line is do you want to know the direction the threat is coming from (V1)...or do you want GPS to mark false alarms so you get real threats. (Escort).

also one of the C5 members makes a cool bracket that attaches the Escort to the passenger visor.

valentine 1 has lifetime updates.

I had every radar out there and nothing compairs to a valentine 1

You need to determine what features you would like to have in your detector first, and THEN try to determine which detector is for you

Have had the V1 for about 3 years now, saved my ass countless times. Has paid for itself several times. Do get a lot of false alarms with it, but the false alarms are registered quickly. Can't say anything about the passport, never used it. It's pretty good too from what I've heard. You could go with either one and be fine....

i gave up on detectors several years ago.only thing it did was tell me when i was hit with the radar gun.have they changed now ? can they pick up radar even if it is not on ?

V1 saved my ass twice this morning and countless other times. It has great range and the arrows are absolutely awesome. Let's you know when the threat has passed, if the threat is in front of or behind you. Can't go wrong with the V1.

My cousin has the V1. He let me use it for a weekend and it worked stupendously for me. This is what I am going to get.
