No! You do not want to leave them on, because they could catch on something.
I thought of using a thumb screw type, but not a good idea.
I have left my standard jack pads on by accident and they did not fall off.

We now make a magnetic jack pad that fits almost all cars.

They are only a improvement if you do not jack the car up at a high angle.
I myself use 2 floor jacks to not put a twist in the car as I jack it up.

Define high angle. I am jacking now 7 to 8 inches to get wheel dollies under the tires. I have both sets the older and newer for the increased angle. Love them use them alot and they are getting cut through the bottom since the material is soft. Do the aluminum ones get the wear marks, can they not be used for the higher angle? thks

I bought a set of 4. Had to remove left front tire the other day and it worked perfectly!!! A must have if you plan on doing any mods yourself!!!

Funny story...

So I just took off all my wheels to clean them and put them back on. Drove around for 45 minutes...and realized when I got back I never removed my pad. Sure enough...it was still there when I got home!

Awesome! And they work well!

Same thing happened to me!

These are definitely worth the money. Quick shipping, and I didn't even have to pay until I recieved them and notified John that I was happy with them

Don't get any better than that

Great product and a must buy. I use them all the time when I put my drag wheels on and then again when I take them off.

Thanks again John

Can you use the standard ones for a 2 post hoist to raise the entire vehicle or do you use the aluminum ones. It says on the website not to raise it any higher than 2'' off the ground when using standard. Is that for durability reasons or the extreme angles when using the floor jack?
