New Sinister Camaro hood & Dovetail rear spoiler now avail: intro special @ PFYC.com

New Sinister Camaro parts are in production!

We've recently announced our new Sinister Camaro and now we've begun production on the hood and spoiler. As we announced last week in this thread on Camaro5.com, we are offering an introductory special which saves you $60 when ordering the spoiler at the same time as the hood (on the hood page). More options will be coming later, such as carbon fiber versions of both. For now, you can order fiberglass if you plan to paint them.

Please click below to go to the ordering pages, and remember if you order both together on the hood page, you will save $60 on the combo!

Just got my sinister hood installed ahnd I love the look and the looks it gets!
I am concerned about the amount of flex I am seeing over 80-90mph on the sides of the hood. Is there something I can do to reinforce or adjust hood short of hood pins I dont want to drill?

You should not be experiencing any more flex that you would with the factory hood if all adjustments are correct. The most likely cause of the flex you're experiencing is either improper bump stop adjustment or the foam dampener on the sides has been removed.

The 4 bump stops at the front of the hood need to be low enough to allow the hood to meet the fenders correctly for proper adjustment but should also be high enough that they support the hood from below. I've seen some body shops crank the bump stops all the way down where they are not touching the hood and supporting it correctly from below. I've also seen instances where the foam dampener has been removed. And lastly the latch must be adjusted correctly to keep everything tight.

If you'd like to snap a photo of the engine bay with the hood open showing the bump stops and foam dampeners and email them to me, I'd be happy to look it over. If you'd like me to give you a phone call to help explain more clearly about the adjustments I'm referring to, PM or email me a convenient time and number to contact you at. I'm on Pacific time.

Hi - if you click the link in the first post you can see current pricing. It comes unpainted - you would have your body shop paint it or do whatever stripes you want at paint time.
