What makes the Gearhead Performance Group Trans Am different from other Camaro/Trans Am conversions like the Bandit and Lingenfelter concept? It'll supposedly come with a 900 HP twin-turbo LS9. Nice.

Sadly, there's no other details other than the as-of-now-still-fictional power claim, the rendered body kit and the 22" snowflake wheels. Oh and the "gold interior accents" which we take to indicate the presence of cocaine and an ill-fated career in professional sports. [Gearhead Performance Group]
I think this car looks stunning! Easily the best Trans Am conversion to date. It isn't trying too hard to be a retro car, rather a modern version of the Trans Am based on the 5th Gen Camaro.

I'd love to see this car get made!

Only thing I think I would change is the Grille just to make it look a little bit less like the Camaro.

Its better than some and worse than others. These guys doing these T/A conversions have got to learn to get rid of the cowl before they put a shaker scoop on it! If I did one I would go a 69 T/A Ram Air IV look, white with blue stripes. May do one once the convertables come out.

Eh, it's okay. Not jump out of your seat good.

I'd like to see someone do a first gen T/A conversion. Seems like a no-brainer, but nobody has jumped on it yet. Why is everybody going for a Smokey and the Bandit look when the 2010 Camaro is styled after the first gen?

Yeah, if a flat hood would fit over the engine, then the shaker would look great.

Loose the exhaust exits, though.

Still a Camaro. Uses the same body, same hips, same streamline look.

Which TA didn't use Camaro body, hips, look?

This one looks the same as most other TA mods... I don't see much that someone else didn't do already.

I'm confused by this. The LS9 is basically a supercharged LS3 block, with other upgrades of coarse. So are they de-supercharging it to add twin turbos or are they using the twin turbos to blow through/into the supercharger?

I do like this 77 style front on the Otto version. Yet another Shaker scoop on top of a cowl:thumbdown. The rear end of it is........... I dont know what they were thinking.
