No probs man. I wasn't aware there were a few other designs floating around here. A lot of good info came into this thread any ways. That's what the forums are good for.

if you remove the restrictor you need to have your tune looked at.

Yep. Or if you have an SCT and the live link software and a Wideband with FireWire setup you can datalog and look at it for AFR and spark knock. It may or may not need a tweak.

I use the Innovate Wideband. FireWire cable from eBay. Jannetty walked me through wiring it up but it was simple. I'll bet you can find instructions on the SCT website or the Innovate website.

Do you datalog the AFR via FireWire cable to SCT or other logging device with the AEM? I've heard the AEM is good but I don't know if you can feed the SCT via FireWire cable with it.

So that would explain why the restrictor is not there. That's what I think I will do when I set up for the meth kit.

Days we've been trying to figure this out going over everything including if it was an actual ECS blower. I think we got it figured out though. ECS uses a 3.30 pulley that comes standard with the kit, and I know from personal experience that without the restrictor, he should be getting at least 15lbs. of boost.

Impeller speed with 7" lower/3.33" upper on the 1500 is 47139rpm, 7" lower/3.6" upper is 43604rpm.
Im just going to get a 7.8" lower and keep the 3.6" upper and turn it 48587rpm.

Good job Chris

Yes the 3.30 will make 14-15lbs depending on cam, 3.47 make about 12.5-13.5psi. (Remember the std ECS pulley is 7.9" for lower)
