I'm hoping its not too much faster that the new maro SS, I'm planning on going up against my buddy's c5 Zo6 hopefully he doesnt kill me too bad.

It depends what you consider "bad". Given equal drivers, I would say 4-6 cars through the 1/4.

my car is torch red ,black interior,chrome wheels. It has a little over 19,000 miles not alot. It is bone stock for now, it had a 7 year warranty which ran out in may. I am looking to do a few small mods now cai,custom tune,shifter.

That being said, the C5 Z06 should be noticeably faster than a '10 Camaro.

The C5 Z06 will smoke it. The Camaro SS is about even with an LT4/LS1 (vette) at this point, if not a tad slower. Gotta shave some weight!

what??? the hp to weight ratio is better in the 2010 but the drag co must be playing a huge role

the vette is roughly 600 pounds lighter than the maro and more aerodynamic thats the problem.

well, the aero does play a small role, but it all depends on the speeds. At about 120 mph, the '10 Camaro's aero drag is killing ~15 rwhp more compared to an fbody.
