SPLASH GUARD PAINT CHIPPING

I DID NOT ORDER FACTORY MUD FLAPS THE SALESMAN TOLD ME THEY JUST PUT FLAT BLACK ONES ON. I AND THE DEALER NOW KNOW THAT THE FACTORY ONES ONLY FIT. MY COLOR CAMARO WAS ABM WHICH WAS DISCONTINUED. THEY GOT BLACK ONES AND PAINTED THEM ABM WHICH LOOK GOOD NOW BUT WILL THE PAINT CHIP OFF OR SHOULD I CLEAR BRA THE EDGES OR JUST LEAVE THINGS ALONE? THANKS.

LOUD NOISES!!!

There's always a possibility that the paint could chip. If you're that worried about it you can clear-bra them.

st off welcom and please turn off your "cap lock". If the dealership prepped them correctly you should be fime IMHO clear bra on them is an over kill. I just installed factory glossy black ones on my 2010 Camaro and I do not see them chiping that easy.

Well, it depends on how well primed and how the paint was applied. I ordered mine factory matched color when I ordered my Camaro. Just retouch it, no big deal especially in that area.

I have searched myself for someone that has done white splash guards and yet to have seen them either. Please someone has to have done it by now.

My black ss camaro has paint chips infront of the rear tires . I just have 1,200 miles and I noticed them after a few hundred miles. I have babied this car and it is alarming to be so chiped up already. Is anyone else having this problem? Its like it was just painted and I drove it too soon.
