Progressive Insurance Quotes

Hey guys,
I wasn't sure if anyone else has tried but I noticed today that Progressive will do quotes on the new Camaro and even better, the SS! I'm interested to see if I should keep my truck and list the Camaro as a recreational vehicle or if it will cost more to keep both.

Wow, it's kind of freaky how they pulled my vehicle information with so little information about me. And I don't use progressive...

Me no get cheap quote :(:(:(

1200$ a year for the RS
2000$ a year for the SS

I will be turning 25 in a year and one month which is about around the time that I plan on getting the camaro. What they say better be true, and these numbers better go down some. At these rates I just as well get the Gixxer that I wanted.

Well guys, I just wrapped up on the phone and it looks like it will be about $224 a month with the Camaro and Ranger together, with the SS as a recreational vehicle. That's not too far from what I was expecting for the SS alone I was already paying about $80 for the truck.

Keep in mind I just turned 25 in August and had some speeding tickets get dropped in Sept. I'd be interested to see what everyone else is getting quoted, especially in TX.

I did a quote a lil while back with Geico and with the SS it was $150 a month. I figure less with StateFarm since ive been with them since I was 16 and also have my homeowners through them. Fathers Been with them forever as well.

$383 every 6 months to add the 2SS to my GEICO policy. That's 300k/500k coverage, $250 deductibles, with full glass.

edit-> that's based on value of 36,050; Camaro not officially on GEICO's list yet.

i had Progressive for years then 1 day they wanted to raise my rates for no reason so i went with esurance.com , i would recomend them to anyone looking for good reasonable insurance, i even had a hail claim and it was taken care of very quickly

yeah I don't trust those online quotes anyway. Last time I renewed I got a better rate when I went to the insurance office and talked to my agent.

right now it's quoting me this:
LT = $767 / 6 months
SS = $995 / 6 months

I hope that is full coverage and not just liability right??

Am I the only one who doesn't get the Camaro the list of vehicles on the Progressive site? I've scoured that list a half dozen times, and it seems like the Camaro is hiding from me....

I guess I'll actually have to call them.

^Make sure you choose 2010, the chevrolet camaro is the only option out for the model year 2010.

I think quotes for Massachusetts are just broken. I get what appears to be the 2009 lineup when I select 2010, however, if I try to get a quote at my parent's place in Oregon, it works. Phone it is!
