The reason I ask is because I want to do this for running at the track. I think like my last girlfriend, the extra inch and a half makes a huge difference lol. But I am not really into putting in spacers and cutting the lug bolts if I don’t have to.
Also just an FYI I had JDP Motorsports install Pfadt sub-frame bushings and rear arm package. This helped with wheel hop and gave me 2 – 3 10ths on the stock PZeros. The rear end “plants” a lot better. But I would like to run the 555R or the M/T 3727R.
Your thoughts please and thanks.
Also I did buy a couple months ago a complete set of stock wheels and tires (brand new) for $1,000. So I do have donor wheels.
jonnyb!!!!

You will have to run spacers if you widen the wheels. We have a car with the rears widened and the lugs did not need to be cut. I can get you any information you need. Talk to you soon!

My rears are widened to 10.5" with 315's. No spacer. I did get some rubbing while I was autocrossing. No issues on the street.

Ok so I should be getting my wheels back from Vaughn tomorrow or on monday. I ended up going with widening the fronts to save some $$ and less hassle right now. They are powdercoated black and I got the fronts widened to 10.75 . So I need a 20mm spacer for the rears and what size spacer for the fronts (since I'm moving the rears to the front). I want to have an aggressive stance where the wheel is almost flush with the fender lip. Are the H&R's the best spacers? Do I need to do anything else other than that? I guess I'm gonna have to get my center caps painted black to match since they couldn't powdercoat them.

No spacer needed to put the rears on the front.

Sorry,

I haven't looked at this thread for a while. I'm running 315s on the back, not 305s. Like yotaman96, I did get some rubbing at the track, but it wasn't enough to be a concern. Now I'm running 20mm Eibach spacers all around, but they're mainly for aesthetics. I suspect that if you run 305s, you won't have any rubbing issues at all.

So no need for spacers on the front if i stick the rears on the front. And a 20mm spacer on the rear? What tires should I get for street? I'm thinking a 305? Are the H&R spacers good? Do i need to cut the lugs too?

Has anyone widened the rear wheels from the outside of the wheels (meaning an increased offset or deep dish look)? So far, I have seen two threads of people widening the stock wheels on the inside. Thanks!

Look at your wheels; there is no front lip to widen.

Ok I need some help! I got my fronts widened from Eric Vaughn to 10.75 and today I went to a local wheel shop and it was a disaster. I was trying to get the do the fitment with spacers etc and things just didn't quite work out as planned. Anybody know anyone I can take it to in the Bay Area to get the spacers etc done? They were saying I'd need like a 47mm wheel adapter to get it to clear. I was under the impression I could use a 20mm hubcentric spacer?

Since you widened the fronts and they have a different offset than the rears, I believe you need a 1" spacer. You will also need to modify the emergency brake cable routing.

Are you putting them on the rear? if so the 20mm should work. I have 25mm on the rear of mine with 11" widened wheels.

Damn conflicting info here haha! So you have 25mm adapters on 11" widened fronts? I have 10 3/4 widened wheels. So you're saying 20mm? Should I call ADM or?

25mm is almost an inch. If you look back at threads he started, he says his wheels were widened to 10.8".
