Ordered my 1le Sept 7 2012 and keep calling my dealer he tells me when the order was placed it was a 99 and now its 02 , he says ypur order should be accepted soon. What is he talking about?

I cant really say. I am good friends with my dealer and I have been there every step of the way. That being said I will tell you what I have experienced and I know. I placed my order august 13th and it finally was accepted by GM in early September. There were 103 alotments given to dealers on what I believe to be the 18th of august. I didn't make that alotment. If anything is unclear feel free to pm me and I can give you my number and we can talk.

Is my dealer talking about priority in the allocation?

Actually yes. From what I'm told, there are multiple stages of priority. 99 is for when a dealer orders a car for stock (not a particular customer) so if I were to buy a ZL1 at the dealer and they put in a separate ZL1 order for stock, my order is 1 and theirs is 99 and I have priority. I was at priority 1 the whole time so I nearly forgot about this stage. Keep checking in with your dealer and you should eventually get your order number as soon as GM accepts it. They accepted my order in September and I placed my order in August.
