Question Vinyl Top
I've searched through the forum and googled it, but I've yet to see it. My question is has a vinyl top, or anything of the sort, been done on the Gen 5. If so does anyone have photos?

Not a good look for a Gen5. Actually my 69 originally had a vinyl top, it looks so grandma that I took it off.

I don't say "gross" because I don't like vinyl tops, just not on 5th Gens. I have a '67 Firebird with a vinyl top that I love...

I appreciate the interest and concern. but these answers hardly answer the question. The assumption that it would be gross" or "horrible" can't be proven unless someone tries it. I really don't see how much worse it could look than a convertible top. It's really just curiosity, and I'd personally like to see a 5th gen go really retro.

We just did one on a 2013!
Our shop just installed one on a 13 SS/RS. It turned out fantastic. Bakker Auto Trim Muskegon MI. 231 728 2325.
