Boost or Spray?
For Track would going boosted be better or would a 100 shot spray be better?

For just drag racing at a track, I'd take the spray everytime

Thats what Im thinking also, Boost would be nice because of everyday driving. yet 5,000 is a hefty price for most. But for when it really matters, It seems like spray would be the cheaper route for just as much power. Id like to go boost but at the time being im figuring that im only going to need that power at the track since thats when its only gonna matter.
Im torn between jumping into going N/A at the moment or holding off till next year and going Boosted. Also not very aware of how well our cars will handle boost on a day to day drive internally, Yet weekend spraying at the track still leaves the same question as to how well the car holds up internally also. ha |

I have been twin turboed for almost 3 Years now... daily driving it (except in winter of course). Cars loves it.
Turbos are perfect for a daily because under normal driving conditions the car drives like a stock n/a car. But you give it a little more throttle and it comes alive. When running boost just make sure its tuned right and you will have nothing to worry about. sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

Hmm, Interesting. I really appreciate that first hand info! Thank you. Too bad these kits dont offer payment plans! haha Reason I ask about the daily driver thing is because un like alot of people on here my car I drive everyday...ALOT! 100miles a day 5 days a week. I have no intentions of getting rid of it. Id like to get to a point to where I can garage in a bit more to keep miles down! but still drive it when id like too. So it would be awesome to one day Boost it an twin turbo would be sick. So im torn because im itching big time to jump into some goodies. But im not to sure if I should. or keep putting off and saving for the big stuff. |

Do what will make YOU happy. The only thing I would say is that spray will get you addicted and you will want more. So I see boost in your future anyways, so save up and go Turbo. Single or twin either way. sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

Example here too. You can find used kits for a decent price these days.

Spray it for now, under a $1,000.00 and about 2 hours and save for getting boosted later. Then you can spray a small shot when you get boosted too. So you can play now and later.

No one has yet to find out what the internals in these cars can handle as of yet. Have yet to hear of internals going bad on these cars. Only way for that to happen has been with bad tuning or reaching a good tune by pushing when going FI. Actually I just read of a ZL1 popping because of bad internals hasn't happened yet on the V6.
