Rockaway Townsquare Mall NJ Camaro meet? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey everyone,
I rode past the Best Buy at the Rockaway Townsquare mall in NJ on October 8th (Saturday around 1pm) and saw several camaros and people standing around. Unfortunately I couldn't stop. I was in my Summit White Camaro with IOM stripes. Were any members from Camaro5 there? I'm currently not aware of any North Jersey camaro clubs or meets.

I'm in Freehold and I hadn't heard of it either. I wish they did some kind of a Camaro gathering near me.

I am in staten island and havent read anything about a club in north jersey, but if there was one NY5THGEN would most likely know about it. There a pretty big club out of NYC and surrounding areas.

I'm only about 20 min from there too. If somebody put something together I would def be in!

I don't have a Camaro yet :( - but I live 5 minutes from Rockaway mall. I'll confirm I drive by and see car gatherings in Best Buy there quite often for whatever reason.

I've seen Mustang, GT-R, and general BMW/Audi gatherings before. So it's possible and probably a good place for someone to set up - pretty large parking lots that are never full!

Looks like you have at least 5 that said for sure and a few more interested.

That is true, anyone interested in meeting for a Camaro gathering should let me know. We can set something up at the mall possibly and take it from there.

I'm in freehold as well an was thinking about puttng something together.

Maybe in the lot across from CVS on Rt 79 (Marlboro)

The lot is always empty - since all the stores are closed - and there is plenty of space for 50+ cars
