What made you think an SS2 (smaller cam) would give you 470-480 unless you did some head work?? Just curious bc I wouldn't have expected 470 from that cam? Now SS3 for sure would!

Well I was hoping for the higher sider of 470 lol. I think I'm gonna put it on a different dyno just to see. Even tho it doesn't really matter because the car pulls SUPER hard now compared to before lol

I think most guys that hit the 480HP area also have ported heads and throttle body but I could be wrong.

I do have a question for you other guys though with a cam, when putting it in neutral and coming to a stop does your engine stay "revved" till a complete stop?
My car idle sits just slightly higher and then drops after I stop. I now let the car slow itself down until around 1500 rpms and usually by the time I completely stop and/or let off the clutch the idle is flat.

Being a M6 I would be more concerned with the low torque number. Regardless if their dyno reads low there are plenty of bolt-on cars that make as much if not more torque than the OP. I would be curious to know what the average M6 Night Fury cam runs in the 1/4 for MPH?
I've always been some what skeptical when I see a dyno graph of a Night Fury cam only car making close to 500rwhp. I completely understand the dyno is just a tool and not the holy grail. MPH will tell the story. Nothing against the OP, as long as your happy that is all that matters.
Good luck with it!

Check the drag section, 11's at 122+ recently. I'm sure there's also more in it.

I need your wheels to try mine out at the track. What gears are you using, and who tuned the car?

It's a gforce 9" with 4.11 gears. Lethal racing did the install and tune. Where are you from?

I'm in mooresville, near charlotte. Hopefully I can get to the track and see what it will do with the 3.91's. Have to get all the final tuning done first though
