I'm hoping to do about 7500 but am not sure yet. I want to keep my payments at 500 or less so whatever it takes to do that and it's kind of depending on what I can sell my mustang for. Only have a couple weeks

I was thinking about this. GM has the program where they cover the difference between what you owe and what the car is worth if you decide to trade it in the near future. If you put a large down payment, I'm guessing that would negate that benefit. I mean who knows what 2011 will bring??
OR was I just understanding that whole concept wrong??
