Installed pfadt springs notice something?
I recently installed pfadt springs and notice the front plates on the strut tower are sitting off the tower. Is this normal or am I missing something. I don't know what would stop the top of the strut from moving around other than the weight of the car. Any ideas ???

You are good to go.
The strut mount fits tightly into a cup under the fender. The weight of the car holds it in place. The retaining plate holds the strut in the car when you are airborne ;-) The space is required for articulation when the front wheels are turned. |

I feel much better now. And I love the look, the ride is better than I expected as well.

Completely normal. Even bone stock cars can be like that.
