The ride quality is different, but not harsh or worse than OE. The coilovers also have lots of adjustment so it can be tweaked. Immediately I could feel a difference in the steering wheel like it was "precisely dialed in". As far as handling goes - all I can say is OMG! Although most people don't like to spend money on them, I can really feel the difference with the subframe inserts. There is no give or movement in the back of the car anymore. Before when I got on it the back would sink down some. Not anymore, which tells me the power is getting to the ground faster. It almost has the feeling of better throttle response (unless I am imagining that)

You are more than likely NOT merely imagining it! Sounds like a good move!

A Chevrolet Camaro painted in pink will be the pace car for two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. The choice of color may seem a little odd, but the automaker has themed this car to raise money for charity as well as to create awareness for the fight against breast cancer. This initiative from Chevrolet is to offer support for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer project. This project is part of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), which is an annual worldwide international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October. The car will be deployed at the upcoming two races in the Atlanta Motor Speedway and Richmond International Raceway. For the AdvoCare 500 event, which will be held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, the pace car is dressed in a pink outfit with the AdvoCare 500 logo on the doors, the Chevrolet logo adorning the roof, the Camaro name on the front window and the Breast Cancer Awareness pink bow on the hood. The car will not only be used as a symbol to raise awareness, but will also be used to raise financial support for the cause directly. The automaker has announced that for every lap the safety car is deployed, $200 will be donated the American Cancer Society. Alan Batey, Chevrolet vice president, Sales and Service, said that this initiative from Chevrolet is to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer, more birthdays and longer journeys. This is indeed a commendable effort from the automaker and for the first time, probably many will look forward to the deployment of this safety car in the races for the sake of this noble cause. Pedderised, of course. |
