Nice. I've got a late 80s stainless steel Springfield Armory Champion that's about 98%. Got it about 2 years old for $450, after it had less than 500 rounds through it.

I also recently got a SA based Gunsite Light Carry Pistol (it's a Champion length slide with an Officer length alloy frame). It's a genuine Ted Yost 1911, and retro-fitted with the Yost-Bonitz rear sight.

My Sig P220 Carry and HK.45CT (the can is an AAC .45 TIRANT) round out the .45 collection.

What's your preferred carry weapon? We KNOW a rifle is preferred, but I'm talking everyday concealed carry. That means a lightweight, compact firearm. We'd all LOVE to carry a govt. size 1911, but they get heavy and hard to conceal wearing shorts and T shirt in the Texas heat.

My favorite is a Sig P239 in .357 SIG.
8 rounds (one in the pipe) of a proven self-defense caliber works for me.

I like the p239, p938 and the kimber micro carry for summer carry where it can be hard to conceal.

G29 10MM with 180gr Underwoods. If it's rated for black bear and whitetail, it should work for me... if I'm ever attacked by black bears or whitetails I mean.

Correction.. I just got an M&P shield 9mm and it is very easy to conceal wearing t-shirts and shorts via a crossbreed appendix carry holster..

M&P is correct (9mm Shield), Next is S&W model 622, Ruger LCP is also correct (.380), Ruger single six and S&W .32 J frame. The last 2 are mid 70's era that I got from my father.

I picked up a S&W M&P .45 the other day. What a blast to shoot!

My top 3 are Ruger LCP with Hogue Hybrid grip, S&W M&P 340 (.357 Mag, but I like to carry .38 Spl +P) and Ruger LC9. Depending on the day and what I'm wearing, I'll usually bring one of these three along to keep me company

A P938 is ideal for CC in so many ways. Take a look at this comparison! I have a shoulder strap and a cross carry holster for that piece and unless you knew I had it you would never know by looking at me.

For bigger prey I use the Sig Sauer .45 Nightmare. It's supposed to be a carry weapon but it is bulky and just gets in the way.
