Omfg!
 all my cars (except for the jeep in the sig) don't have front plates and I live in Texas too. I've never been pulled over for it.

I purchased a new Mustang Gt several years ago, had holes in the front bumper, I paid $500 to have the cover pulled, holes filled and then repainted, no one ever knew. Now on my new SS, I told the dealer if you put a license plate up front there for your advertising I wont take the car and they didnt put anything there, thank God.

Mounted mine one step lower in the grill, only 2 rivets will hold it but it works and keeps me legal.
