Talking I rode in one! amazing.

Well yesterday I was in swift current, Saskatchewan visiting the girlfriend. She wanted to go to this dollar store right beside a mall with a fairly big parking lot, so we did. After as I was driving out of the parking lot I spotted the back of the camaro in the parking lot. I thought for sure I was seeing things seeing is how im in a city of 15,000 people in Saskatchewan. So I cruised up the line of parked cars and sure enough, there sat a SIM SS/RS camaro, black leather interior, and a sunroof. Damn near the same car I am supposed to be getting in July. My heart hit the floor, I couldn't believe my eyes. I had this car on order since October and I have only seen it on the internet, mostly this website which I am on several time daily. There she was sitting right there in front of me, wow. I looked at the permit in the back window, my girlfriend recognized the name, she had went to school with the owners son in swift current. The owner now lives in North Dakota, but there he was in swift current visiting. I told my gf that I was not leaving until I got to talk to the owner and ask for a ride, I assumed he was in a restaurant it was parked outside of. 10 mins later out walked the owners son. I chatted him up and then asked for a ride in it. "Sure" he said. I couldn't believe it. The closest I got to riding in this car before was videos on youtube. I sat in the front. I couldn't believe how much smaller it is in person. The pictures make it look big, it isn't. The front seat feels like a snug cockpit, yet comfortable. The plastic interior actually looks very sharp. Off we went onto the highway. It wasn't broken in so he didn't drive too hard but as we turned around on the highway to go back I asked if he had put it to the floor yet, he said no. Then once he got it into 3rd gear he put it down. I could feel it accelerate. I figured we hit maybe 100 kph but I asked him anyway, "How fast are we going?" He replied "100 mph." I couldn't believe it, you could never tell we were going that fast, it accelerated so smoothly and rode just as smooth. The roof is low, the windows are small. Very sporty feeling and not a massive car by any means. My girlfriends cobalt was right beside it, the camaro is not much bigger at all. This definitely solidified the purchase for me. Still can't wipe the smile off my face. It's true, pictures can't do this car justice. Unbelievable. I attached some cellphone pics for the proof.

Great story dude! That's pretty much what I've got ordered (minus the sunroof). Apparently there's an Orange one in Fort Mac but I haven't seem it yet. I just can't get over the lines on this car. Especially in SIM!!!
Cool stuff dude!!

Cool, but I disagree about the car being small. The first thing I thought when I saw it in person was that the car is absolutely huge.

I don't know man, compared to the cobalt right beside it, not much bigger at all, definitely not big at all for 360 rwhp.

Anything but a Miata is going to seem huge to someone that drives an S2000.
