LT headers and exhaust or Rims
So I'm completely split. I have some cash and was totally moving in the direction of getting Kooks LT w/ Corsa exhaust plus tune....and well, since I have only a 1000 miles on the car, I'm thinking maybe I should just wait ( warranty in mind) and just add some rims. I definitely want the added performance but not quite sure if its really worth the upgrade right now.
So my question is.....spend the money on the performance or rims? I know its a personal preference but I would like the feedback on those who were in a similar situation and what you chose to do. Thanks in advance! |

Depends on the wheels you're looking at. Haha
If they're "ugly" we're gonna suggest the exhaust. But if they're nice and you wanna keep your warranty then the wheels will be the choice. |

Haha.....the Rohana RC 10: SILVER/MACHINED FACE CHROME LIP 22X9, 22X10.5. For some reason I can't apply the pic attachment on here but they are on the sponsored board under wheels......they look sharp, IMO.
Thanks, Dennis. |

in my opinion I would spend it on the exhaust mods of your going on a 22 rim combo. you will be faster if you downsize and get a forged wheel combo. whenever I slap on the 18 inch rim/drag tires I feel a big difference in power. the revs just flow significantly faster. it makes sense since the stock 20s are really heavy compared to the 18 inch rims.

Headers and exhaust in my opinion, rims look good but performance mods like that make you feel good in the pants.

I wouldn't trade for all the rims in the world if I had the last set of headers in the world.
Between long tubes and CAI, it was up almost 70hp! Mostly due to the headers. |

Headers and exhaust, they wont effect warranty. You could even do headers and leave the stock exhaust, great performance increase for the investment.

Agree with Jonathan above, if planning to mod go to 18-inch not 22's. Headers now.
