Very cool!
Great looks, performance, and power for a great looking car! Just don't get too used to it, you'll want more and more and more and more... Or better yet, do get used to it, and start planning for a cam! Thanks for your business, and enjoy your new power safely! - Jeremy |

Got to enter my first car show on Sunday, the Hot Spot Car Rally in Thermopolis, WY. Had a great time. Only saw one other 5th gen there (an IOM SS vert). Didn't win anything (the black mustang behind my car in the pic beat me in my class), but it was still a great day. My dad brought his cars as well, his are the blue DeSoto and yellow Charger parked next to me. Talk about a great father's day.

Just got back from a trip to Laramie. It rained harder than I've ever seen or driven in (Pic below). The car handled it beautifully as always. While I was there, we installed a new Hurst Short Throw Shifter, and boy is it awesome. Not only does it look great, but it feels great in your hand as well. The ball is just the right size, and the stick is elevated slightly more than the stock one, allowing for more leverage/control. On top of that, it feels much more mechanical when shifting (unlike the rubbery feel of the factory one), you can really feel when it slips into a gear. Because of this, shifting has been much more accurate for me, so missed gears may be a thing of the past as long as I pay attention. Plus, the shifter doesn't do the shake dance that the factory one did whenever I was driving on a road that wasn't made of glass.. I always found that really annoying. Lastly, the throws have been reduced by 44%, so shifting seems effortless now. Love this shifter! I got it for super cheap as well (from Amazon).
Also emptied out my catch can for the first time (Roughly 1,000 miles) and saw what came out (pic below). Needless to say, this thing is definelty working and will hopefully prolong my engine's lifespan/efficiency. |

I don't miss gears.
But for real, that's awesome. I drove one with the Hurst shifter and it almost made me regret my auto decision. ................ almost. |

If I lived in the city I would despise a manual. After driving through downtown denver In my previous car (manual), I learned the values of each type.

If we roll together on the rally I'll take some real HDR photos for you with my DSLR.

Almost forgot to mention, finally installed my set of Raceready Electronic Cutouts. It was tough to find a fabricator who could squeeze them onto a corsa system, but we got it done, and boy was the wait worth it! These babies sound absolutely beastly! Might as well call them "on-demand straight pipes". I went with raceready because of their lifetime warranty, which I know is important with something that has moving parts and two motors in it. I also liked their bolt-on design the most. Here's a video I made to demonstrate them:

Yesterday was my second car show. Had a lot of fun, and got to see some truly terrific cars. After the show ended we decided to head to the tunnels and recorded how the car sounds now that the cutouts are on. We weren't disappointing. The ricer in the second pic had me laughing out loud after I read the license plate and then found out the car was owned and built by a 72 year-old woman
