As good a performer Mustang is, imo it falls way behind in the looks department, @ least the bigger Challenger has the curve appeal to continue to be successful.

+1 I love muscle cars, and always have. But, nothing looks wise about any mustang has ever done anything for me. Challenger on the other hand was my second choice behind my camaro. I actually test drove the challenger and loved it, but its still only second best to the camaro. Nothing feels and looks like the camaro

I don't have a chevy/ford preference. I do find I like the looks of the new Mustangs. Not sure about the performance or interior, but I do like the exterior. Not near as much as I like the 5th gen Camaro, though. Of course!!

For me, it goes back to the old neighborhood...you were either a Chevy family or a Ford family...as kids we ragged on each others cars, depending on which one was taking us to school!!...lol

First time I remember seeing a camaro i knew it was what i wanted. This was a 3rd gen btw. Its been chevy every since. I grew up riding in the back seat of a 87 monte carlo ss.

Chevy just has a place in my heart

I've never liked the style of the mustang..it's boring. Plus, my relatives are ford people and they're always having problems(after having the vehicle for only two years. I do like the older mustangs though (60's/70's)

My DD is a '06 Mustang GT. The ride is rough, the car is loud from outside noise - not the exhaust, the suspension is not great around curbs because of the single axle, and the car does not seem to be insulated at all.....

I have no issues with Mustangs, but the Camaro certainly seems to be a lot better built car.

I can't explain it. Since I was a small boy, I have always had Chevy in my viens. I've always thought that Chevy set the bar for everyone else.

I honestly don't dislike Ford. They just don't do anything for me.

But, I do think the Mustangs have ugly butts. They do have a nice look from the front.

I much prefer the styling of chevys in general.

Couldn't say it better myself. The new mustangs don't have the looks, especially not stock. I feel like I'd have to put a decent chunk of change into a 5.0 just making it look the way I want. It sure performs well, I'll give it that!

And the challenger looks cool too, but again I feel like I'd at least need different rims or something. The factory rims look plain, bleh. Better looking than the mustang though. I hope I get to drive on someday.

Nothing against Ford from me. I have 2 classic mustangs, a '67 and '68, back at home that I'm restoring.

Most all the cars that I've owned have been a Chevy. For most people, this goes back to their childhood and their parents or siblings.

With that said, at this point in my life, it's more about muscle cars in general than it is a Chevy thing. I'd own any of the three. And while I'm partial to the Camaro, I'm considering a 5.0...especially as it can be had for a better price.

I don't not like ford. The fiesta ST and raptor are pretty cool. Same with Chevy.
