Not exactly sure to be honest... But just by carrying the original rotor and calipers I can see a big difference in weight

I had all my parts ready before I got the 1LE so I didn't mind spending on parts that I really wanted. I might not track it that much but for sure ill take it couple times a year.

The kit was more pricey its like $5,500 for the front and back and performance brake lines. But worth every penny. Tomorrow we doing the back

And actually the 1LE brakes are not upgraded brembos they are the same Brembo brakes in every SS just painted red. I loved them. But I love my new set more.

I would assume it is the low profile caliper that makes the rotor look smaller. But are the rotors the same size as stock?

I looks like with this setup it would be much easier for us track guys to run 18" wheels (cheaper race tires)

Thanks Matt

I believe the rotors are a hair bigger on LE. I've heard anyways. Don't know the exact measurements

Where did you read that? Rotor size are 14'' & front 14.4'' rear.
I'm not aware of any difference other then color.
Perhaps they were comparing them to the V6 brakes...
