If your heart is set on a engine/trans swap, then I can recommend calling these guys in Bristol, PA. They pull complete engine and transmissions from wrecked Camaros and Corvettes. You can purchase one of their units complete with wire harness to every nut and bolt you'll need. I've bought a couple engines from them and I've been very happy with the deals.

Thanks for resorting to childish insults so quick. I'll let the others post helpful info now that you were finally able to make it clear what you are asking for.

I agree with Cosmic, don't waste your time or money on an engine swap. It will be very difficult and you will likey spent much more than $3k on it. It not like you can just take engine 1 and replace with engine 2. Different tranny, shorter driveshaft, having to move accessories like power steering, new pulleys/belts, etc.

Find yourself an 4th gen with a V8 and sell you V6.

Dude, for the most part, it's a drop in swap if you're installing a V8 unit from the same model year of the car you're working on. The difficultly is in the wiring, fuel management, emissions, computer, A/C, Cruise control and so on.

Now if you're planing on bypassing these stock functions, then so be it. I would not recommend it.

I've done similar swaps on S-10 pickups that were pre fuel injection 2.8 v6, 5spd to TunedPort IROC V8's and automatic trans.

With enough money, anything is possible.

Personally, I don't think your budget is adequate for what you want to accomplish.
